Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has started his 2-day working visit to south-eastern region of the country.
Mr Buhari who is currently in Abakaliki, Ebonyi state is also scheduled to visit Anambra state.
The President whose visit is a regarded as a show of commitment to the development of the region was received by the Enugu, Ebonyi and Abia State governors, as well as traditional rulers as he arrived the Akanu Ibiam International Airport.
However, members of the Indigenous People of Biafra – IPOB have threatened President Buhari’s visit to the South East.
Some of the pro-Biafra youths have issued stern warnings against the President, citing that he will not return alive if he ever steps foot on the region.
