The German government says it is committed to working with Nigeria to ensure its security challenges are solved.
The German ambassador to Nigeria Bernard Shclaghk gave this commitment at a lecture to mark the beginning of the 2017/2018 academic session of the institute of governance at the Nasarawa state university, Keffi.
The envoy said Germany remains committed to working with Nigeria to enhance intelligence gathering alongside growth and development issues.
The director of the Nasarawa state university’s institute of governance and development studies Olayemi Akinwumi said Nigeria is moving in the right direction as Germany has the type of equipment that meets Nigeria’s security requirement.
The annual lecture for new student into PhD and post graduate diploma programmes was also attended by the vice chancellor, registrar and other principal officers of the Nasarawa state university.
