    Ugandan shilling steady; traders await central bank rate decision

    The Ugandan shilling was steady on Tuesday, with some traders staying on the sidelines, reluctant to take positions ahead of a central bank rate decision due on Thursday.

    At 1008 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,690/3,700 per dollar, the same level as Monday’s close.
