According to Omar Katti, the Undersecretary of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the conference, which was held in Istanbul, was aimed at attracting investments from Libya. It was organized under the supervision of the ministry’s International Cooperation division.
The objective of the conference was to establish a framework for a strategic partnership between Turkish companies and Libya’s investment institutions. It also aimed to expand the partnership to other African countries.
According to the Undersecretary of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the government has launched a new strategy aimed at attracting foreign investment and achieving the aspirations of the Libyan people.
